Babiana II

One more Babiana, the last for some time now. Collected by the danish collector and apothecary Christian Friedrich Ecklon (1795-1868) who was one of the first systematic collectors in South Africa. This specimen was collected in 1826, and still some of its colour is preserved. The two oldest labels are written in Ecklon’s characteristic handwriting.
